Maryland athletic director Damon Evans has acquired a two-year contract extension by the 2028-29 athletic 12 months.
The brand new deal for Evans, who has led Maryland’s athletics division since June 2018, runs by June 2029. In 2022, he signed a contract extension by June 2027, though Maryland did not publicly announce that deal.
Evans’ new contract will increase his base wage to $1 million yearly, up from $725,000. He additionally will obtain $280,000 in annual supplemental revenue, elevated from $120,000.
